Farm Trails

We are pleased to be able to offer self-guided trail rides within the property boundaries. We have 3000+ acres of farmland and light bush to explore at your leisure. Farm maps are available which detail paddocks, fences and gates – choose your own path or ask for a suggested route. We can cater for short easy rides to several hours and more challenging tracks without the need to leave the property or ride on any public roads. Keep your eyes open and you may be lucky enough to come across some of our resident wildlife including wombats, echidnas, wedge tail eagles and wallabies as well as the sheep. The terrain is varied and generally undulating – we have plenty of options for the barefoot horses as well as the shod ones.

Our farm trails are available from $45 per person.

Outdoor Arena

Our outdoor arena is 60m x 20m with a sand surface and timber edging. The outdoor arena is fully fenced, has dressage markers and small mirrors. It is placed in a sheltered area with great views of the farm and facilities.

Our Outdoor Arena is available for hire for $10/session.

Round Yard

Our round yard has a grass surface and is a generous 20m in diameter making it ideal to ride in for those wishing for a more confined space or for nervous or beginner riders. It is also great for ground work and liberty training as the space makes for easy work beyond walk and trot for your horse. Bookings are essential for our round yard as it is located inside a grazing paddock.

Our round yard is available for hire for $10/session.

Obstacles Paddock

We have our obstacles permanently set up in a fully fenced paddock adjacent to the indoor arena. These obstacles include poles, small jumps and working equitation equipment including a rope gate, bridge and garrocha pole with bull and ring.

Full Facility Hire

Full facility hire is available from $66 per person.

Agistment

Brook Cottage Equestrian is able to offer short term agistment. We have a dedicated agistment paddock for facility users as well as options for holiday agistment including electric fencing. Please read the terms and conditions for full details.

Agistment is available at $16.50 per horse per night.
