Indoor Arena

Our indoor arena is constructed with 2 open sides to provide excellent air flow in the warmer months while still protecting you from the harsh direct sun, this can have a cooling effect of up to 10 degrees in summer, making it more comfortable for both you and your horse. The arena walls are strategically placed to provide shelter from the wind and rain as our most unpleasant weather comes from this direction, the open sides have the added bonus of being able to take in the views while you ride!

Our surface is made from a sand and treadlite (rubber) mix which provides great cushioning for your horse. We live in a drought prone part of this beautiful state so water conservation was a major consideration – while our surface does not require water, we have installed a watering system to reduce any residual dust for the comfort of your and your horse.

The indoor arena is 60m x 20m with dressage markers placed on the rails, 10m markers in white on the long sides and 5m markers in green as well as quarter line markers on the short sides. This makes for easy navigation when training ensuring you can be accurate with your arena patterns. The indoor arena also features a full short side of mirrors plus over 10m of mirrors on the long side to help with horse and rider alignment and position.

The indoor arena is equipped with WiFi and a Telstra mobile phone booster which can allow for remote lessons.

The indoor arena is fully fenced with horse friendly fencing to a height that allows horses to see out. We have 3 horse safe metal yards adjacent to the indoor arena available for use while saddling up and after your ride. Water is available at the yards for your convenience.

Our indoor arena is available for hire at $25/hour + GST.
